Archery, Arts & Crafts, Challenge Course, Cooking, Creative Dramatics, Environmental Education, Free Swim, Frisbee Golf, Games, Hiking, Laughing, Making S'mores, Outdoor Skills, Singing... The camp day is full of exciting and fun things to do and learn. As part of the Camp Fire USA philosophy we know and appreciate that children learn differently. Programs are tailored to the camper group and are age appropriate. Each camper's day is as unique as the camper groups.
Food
Campers must bring a sack lunch each day, except cookout day on Thursday. Milk and snacks provided daily. Some exceptions may apply for Explorers (grades 6-8) depending on their curriculum for that week. See page 5 for more details. Action plans are in place to include campers with food allergies in all activities while maintaining respect for safety and privacy. Please discuss any concerns with Miss Tam, (509) 747-6191 x16.
Red Cross Certified Swim Lessons
In addition to free swim times, most campers will receive daily American Red Cross certified swim lessons. All campers are pre-tested and placed in lessons according to ability. Campers receive a swim progress card at the end of their session. Explorers (grades 6-8) may not have daily lessons depending on their curriculum for that week.
