Camp Fire Inland Northwest | Light the fire within!

About Us

Our Mission

Camp Fire Inland Northwest (INW)'s mission is to provide the opportunity for youth to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

Camp Fire has been an inclusive, innovative leader in youth development since 1910.

You might remember us as Camp Fire Girls or Camp Fire USA, which were key parts of our organizational journey. What kept us thriving? Our commitment to diversity and inclusion from the very beginning, incorporating youth voice into all we do, our intentional effort to reflect & evolve to meet the needs of today's families, and remarkable people like you!

Your Camp Fire Inland Northwest council was established in 1914.

Local programs include youth leadership, after-school groups, camping and environmental education. As one of the largest councils in the country, CFINW provides programs for all youth ages 3-18 in 18 counties in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. We serve over 2,000 children each year through our club programs and summer camps: Camp Sweyolakan on Lake Coeur d’Alene and Camp Dart-Lo in North Spokane.
