Staff accompany campers on the bus. Bus service is not available for pre-school campers under 40 pounds. Campers under age 8 or under 4’9” tall must provide their own child restraint system for use on the bus. Booster seats may not be used as there is no way to secure them in the bus. You are responsible for your camper’s safety until loading occurs and immediately following unloading.
Bus transportation costs an additional $30 per session.
Authorized adults will be required to provide identification during pick-up. Approved identification includes a valid driver’s license, military identification, state issued ID or passport.
The times and locations listed are approximate. The bus will not wait more than 5 minutes after the scheduled time before proceeding to the next stop. In the event of arrival delays of more than 10 minutes, every attempt will be made for a staff person to contact authorized adults to relay the situation and estimated arrival of the bus.
If you miss your camper’s bus stop, call (509) 466-2312 as soon as possible; you may be able to drop-off/pick-up your camper at a later stop. At the end of the day, if you have missed all previous bus stops, your camper will be taken to the Camp Fire Office in the Spokane Valley where a counselor will stay with them until you arrive. In these cases, you will be invoiced $15 for childcare fees.
In the case that your transportation type needs to be changed inside 2 weeks or you have questions, please contact the Camp Fire Office. You can also call the Camp Fire Office with questions or changes in authorized adults. For emergencies, or last minute changes, please call Camp Dart-Lo at (509) 466-2312.
