COVID-19 Update: After careful thought and exhaustive consideration, Camp Fire Inland Northwest is canceling the 2020 Camp Sweyolakan Women’s Retreat. This was a difficult decision; however, we believe it is the right one. We are placing the health of our participants in the forefront of this decision as we do not see a way forward in which we can safely deliver a rewarding experience.
We had hoped for a different outcome.
In lieu of Women’s Retreat, we are excited to announce a new rental opportunity for the end of August and each weekend in September. We will be offering small groups & families the opportunity to stay at Camp Sweyolakan through our Cabin Rental program; details will be released by July 24, 2020. Following all state and local guidelines, we are confident that this will be a safe and fun way for families to visit Camp Sweyolakan and round out the summer.
Thank you for your understanding. We hope you and your families stay safe, and we hope to see you back at Camp Sweyolakan soon!
Ladies, here’s your chance to enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway on the lake and in the woods. For the past 25 years, women of all ages and abilities have invaded Camp Sweyolakan on the weekend after Labor Day for our annual Women’s Retreat.
Our trained camp staff will provide programs and assist you. Overnight accommodations are rustic, yet delightful. Restrooms and showers are near sleeping shelters, and yes, there is hot water and electricity in the restrooms! Meals are made from scratch and snacks are provided.
We know that a full weekend is a big commitment and sometimes difficult to fit into a busy schedule. Join your friends for a single day at Camp Sweyolakan.
Spend the day how you like - catch up with friends, explore Sweyolakan, or take part in our many offered classes and activities; our trained camp staff are here to assist you. Be sure to join us in the Dining Hall for a traditional camp meal.
The registration fee includes transportation to camp, lunch, and classic camp activities, including kayaking, hiking, canoeing, crafts, challenge courses, the Big Swing, swimming, archery, singing and games. But you’ll also find fun things like massages, yoga and a silent auction, as well as mini-classes on specialized crafts such as espresso drinks and sourdough bread making. Some activities require additional fees so plan to bring a little cash...just in case!
Arrival boats begin at the Landing at 9:00am and the departure boats begin at 4:00pm.
